  • Do you like them?
  • Can you remember any? Can you think of any funny ones?

Look the advertisement and find one of your own.
Put them in a word document and write down the words and phrases that catch your eye and you believe play an important role in this ad .
Language is very important in ads.
Keep notes and then make your own advertisement in a word or ppt
ENJOY!!!!

Pocket money and pester power

Do you know what pocket money means?
Do you get any?
How do you spend it?
Do other young people of your age do the same?

USE A mentimeter.com survey to find out how your students spend their pocket money.
Why don't you invite friends from other countries to do the same?

When you get bored

Challenge a friend
Keeping in touch with your friends is important. Why not choose a friend and challenge them to a game of Wordshake to see who gets the most points?
You could also have fun with a friend guessing what the odd photos are in our What is it? section.

Improve your vocabulary

The more words you understand in a language, the better! As someone very wise once said: ‘Without grammar, little is understood. Without vocabulary nothing is understood’! So use this time to expand your vocabulary. Use the Vocabulary section and if it's too easy, another great way to learn new words is by reading our fantastic stories and articles in our Graded reading section. You can relax, read at your level and learn new words at the same time.
